well sorry guys I haven't put up journal in forever but then again it's not like I have many watchers so frankly it doesn't matter. Any who so I'm out in my mom's garden today, weeding. As always our perennials are doing wonderful. The poppies and roses are gorgeous. But have you ever looked close to a rose bush, I did and I saw a ton of aphids, that alone was slightly tragic and gross. After that I continued to weed and I suddenly started to notice all the gross things in a garden. Like the black ant colonies that are hidden under rocks or shallow coverings of dirt. Then the mushrooms that have "bloomed" so the tops are all sticky and repugnant, and just topple over the the smallest tap leaving behind this snot like base. Well out of curiosity I dug one up revealing this peachy bulb right. I picked it up to chuck it away right? It was soft, and squishy. On a less gross note I figured out why bind weed is called bind weed, it wraps itself around a plant. Sadly I never knew that before. I wonder if it's a bit of a parasitic plant. Anyway that was my brief gardening adventure, and Now I must return to weeding. Adios folks!
